An Application-Driven Nonorthogonal-Multiple-Access-Enabled Computation Offloading Scheme

To cope with the unprecedented surge in demand for data computing applications, promising concept of multi-access edge (MEC) has been proposed to enable network edges provide closer processing mobile devices (MDs). Since enormous workloads need be migrated, and MDs always remain resource-constrained, offloading from MEC server will inevitably require more efficient transmission designs. The integration nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique shown applications lower latency higher energy efficiency. However, existing designs this type have mainly focused on technique, which is still insufficient. further advance performance, work, we propose an application-driven NOMA enabled computation scheme by exploring characteristics where common application offloaded through multi-device cooperation. Under premise successfully data, formulate problem as maximization individual throughput, time allocation power control are jointly optimized. By using successive convex approximation (SCA) method, formulated can iteratively solved. Simulation results demonstrate convergence our method effectiveness scheme.
